In my classic Jigsaw Sudoku puzzles, the grid is 9 cells wide and 9 cells deep. The lines of squares running horizontally are called rows, and the lines running vertically are called columns. The grid is further divided by thicker lines into nine irregular shaped boxes that all contain 9 cells.
The aim of the puzzle is to fill the blank cells with the correct numbers. Each row, column and irregular shaped box must end up containing all of the numbers from 1 to 9. Each number can only appear once in any row, column and irregular shaped box.
